Position Title-Oracle Functional Consultant

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly capable Oracle Functional Consultant to support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Oracle Fusion Cloud platform, with a primary focus on Financials and a strong understanding of HCM and the broader Oracle stack.
The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise with strong business acumen and the ability to communicate complex system concepts in clear, non-technical language to finance, HR, and leadership stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Functional Analysis & Business Partnering
Act as a bridge between Finance, HR, and Technology teams to translate business needs into Oracle Fusion solutions.
Lead requirements workshops, design discussions, and fit-gap analysis sessions.
Provide functional support for key Oracle modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procurement, Expenses, and related HCM interfaces.
Partner with HR and Finance leadership to ensure process alignment across modules such as Payroll, Compensation, and Projects.
2. Solution Design & Configuration
Configure Oracle Fusion modules based on business requirements and best practices.
Support solution design documentation, testing scripts, and functional specifications for integrations and reports.
Conduct impact assessments and regression testing during Oracle quarterly release cycles.
Collaborate with integration teams on Oracle Cloud (OIC) and REST API-based data flows.
3. Oracle Ecosystem & Integrations
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Fusion with systems like Salesforce, Darwinbox, TMF Payroll, and Jira.
Support master data governance and ensure process consistency across the enterprise platform.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and roadmap planning for future Oracle capabilities.

4. Business Communication & Change Enablement
Serve as a trusted advisor to functional stakeholders – translating technical configurations into business-friendly narratives.
Develop clear documentation, process maps, and training materials for business users.
Support workshops, demos, and UAT sessions with non-technical stakeholders.
Communicate functional updates and changes to leadership teams in clear, concise formats.
5. Governance & Continuous Improvement
Support system governance processes including configuration management, change control, and audit readiness.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and simplification of processes.
Stay updated with Oracle Fusion releases, industry trends, and best practices to recommend improvements.
Qualifications &

Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
5–10 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, with emphasis on Oracle Fusion Financials.
Strong understanding of multiple Oracle Fusion modules (Financials, HCM, Procurement, Projects, Expenses).
