Global Workforce Analytics and Planning is one of the key pillars within HR Transformation and Services mainly responsible for managing workforce analytics and planning globally. The purpose of the role is to act as technical analytics and data expert to HR and the business. Proactively developing insights which deliver business value, providing robust, outcome-focused analyses and the implementation of scalable products that enhance data-driven decision-making.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide deep technical expertise to a portfolio of high impact workforce analytics initiatives. Identify the optimal sets of data, models, training, and testing techniques required for successful solution delivery on workforce analytics.
Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of business situations or people data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologies.
Leverage continuous integration and continuous deployment best practices, including test automation and monitoring, to ensure successful deployment of data models and application code.
Design and build predictive models, classifiers, and recommendation systems to enhance business performance related to workforce and organization data.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, AI technologies, and visualization tools to enhance methodologies for workforce analytics practices.
Communicate complex findings and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports.
Partner with business leaders, domain experts, and end-users to gain business understanding, data understanding, and collect requirements.
Manage external vendors in the execution of parts of the workforce analytics development process.
Use programming languages including but not limited to Python, R, SQL, Java or Scala, working in cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and all its services and ecosystem.
Responsible for virtual team management across the globe.
Design the overall data architecture for the global HR Data Lake to meet current and future HR as well as cross-functional data analytics requirements.
Develop a state-of-the-art workforce analytics toolbox to empower Workforce Analytics roles and attract/retain future talents
Provide guidance and data-driven insights on global HR data governance and strategy, including the definition and development of KPIs to ensure effective enforcement.
Drive initiatives to strengthen the data culture within Global HR as well as across the wider Olympus data community.
