Database Developer

Experience:

6+ Years (4+ Years in PLSQL development must)

Job description:

We are seeking a Database Developer with a proactive attitude towards learning, collaboration, and improvement together with strong expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL. The ideal candidate is up for a challenge, a self-starter, and a team player. They will work on database-centric and batch-oriented applications, and contribute to scripting, automation, and critical risk management systems.

Required Skills:

A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts in a fast-paced environment.
A team player.
Strong and proven proficiency in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, functional and technical.

Experience with Power Shell or Unix Shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with Control-M for batch job scheduling.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Communicate effectively with our business parters to understand requirements, support testing, and provide updates.
Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL code, based on business requirements.
Create and maintain scripts using Power Shell or Unix Shell scripting.
Manage batch jobs using Control-M.
Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality deliverables in a structured SDLC environment.
Good to Have:
Familiarity with Moody’s Risk Foundation or similar risk platforms.
Familiarity with Credit risk
Basic experience with Python for scripting or automation.
Exposure to AWS cloud services.
Exposure to AWS Glue and DBT
