Role Description This is an on-site SEO Intern role based in Gurugram. The SEO Intern will support daily search optimization activities, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and basic technical checks. Responsibilities include assisting with SEO audits, tracking website performance using analytics tools, monitoring rankings and traffic, and contributing to link-building and outreach efforts. The intern will also help create and optimize content for search engines, document findings and recommendations, and collaborate with marketing and content teams to improve organic visibility.

This internship role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced edtech environment with guidance from experienced SEO professionals.

Qualifications

- Foundational understanding of keyword research and the ability to identify relevant, high-intent search terms.
- Skills in conducting SEO audits and recognizing basic on-site or technical issues affecting performance.
- Knowledge of on-page SEO best practices, including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and URL optimization.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar) to monitor traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Interest or basic experience in link-building strategies and ethical outreach methods.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate in an on-site team environment in Gurugram and manage time effectively.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Genuine interest in edtech, overseas education, and learning modern SEO and digital marketing practices.
