Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Inventory Management:
Develop and execute short-term and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts and business requirements.
Ensure optimal inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers.
Monitor inventory health and recommend actions to reduce excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory.
Balance customer service levels with inventory carrying costs.
Production & Capacity Planning
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to develop production schedules aligned with demand forecasts.
Evaluate production capacity, resource constraints, and material availability.
Support capacity planning and identify risks impacting supply continuity.
Drive proactive mitigation plans to address supply shortages and bottlenecks.
Demand & Supply Alignment
Partner with Demand Planning and Sales teams to align supply plans with forecasted demand.
Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings and contribute to supply planning decisions.
Analyze forecast changes and assess their impact on supply plans and inventory levels.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
Monitor supplier performance and identify supply risks.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve supply disruptions and expedite critical orders when required.
Supply Chain Optimization
Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, inventory turns, and operational efficiency.
Support supply chain transformation and process improvement initiatives.
Develop planning models and dashboards to enhance visibility and decision-making.
Implement best practices for inventory and replenishment planning.
Reporting & Analytics
Track and report key supply chain metrics such as inventory turns, fill rates, stock availability, OTIF (On-Time In-Full), and forecast accuracy.
Analyze supply chain performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Prepare management reports and present insights to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Production Planning, or Supply Chain Operations.
Experience working in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive, or Industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes and inventory management principles.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems (APS), SAP APO, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or Blue Yonder is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
