Inviting applications for the role of Vice President - Pricing & Commercials
In this role you will be you will be responsible for leading and driving the transformation of our Pricing & Commercials department. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies that will streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive growth.
Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Deal Leadership:
- Leading deals and interacting directly with clients in the market. Being among the first contacts for new clients, this role is key to building solid relationships from the start. The ideal candidate should have proven, practical experience handling these initial engagements
Agentic Pricing Expertise:
- Proficiency in agentic pricing is essential, as it serves as a major pivot in negotiating and structuring deals to benefit both the client and the organization. Redefining our value to our client through shifting conversations from offerings only to business problems that we can solve through Agentic
Developing and Executing Pricing Strategy:
- Creating and Executing Pricing Strategies:
Take charge of designing and putting into action detailed pricing plans to maximize profits across all products and services.
Market and Competitive Analysis:
Manage research efforts to gauge how customers respond to prices, review competitors%27 strategies, and spot emerging market trends and growth areas.
Boosting Commercial Expansion:
Develop and implement business initiatives that increase revenue and grow market presence, including targeting new customer groups or industry sectors.
Financial Expertise and Budget Oversight:
Oversee the department%27s budget, track financial outcomes like profit margins and return on investment, and use data-driven analysis to guide resource allocation and investments.
Improving Discount and Deal Arrangements:
Establish and oversee discount policies and special deal terms that remain competitive while protecting profitability.
Collaborating Across Departments:
Work closely with teams from sales, finance, product development, and marketing to align pricing strategies with product plans and overall company goals.
Managing Risks:
Evaluate possible financial risks related to pricing decisions and create strategies to minimize those risks.
Enhancing Processes and Systems:
Find opportunities to improve procedures and technologies that enhance pricing analytics, streamline service offerings, and boost efficiency.
Leadership and Team Development:
Lead, support, and mentor pricing and commercial teams, encouraging high performance and ongoing professional growth.
Strategic Partnership:
Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, and senior leadership team, offering insights that drive strategic decision-making, and long-term value creation.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
. CA or MBA Finance from a recognized university
. Proven track record of successfully leading finance transformation initiatives.
. Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, processes, and systems.
. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
. Deliver engaging and impactful presentations to Sr. Leadership and internal stakeholders. Translate complex information into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
