Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis (Budgeting & Forecasting)
Responsibilities:
.Team Leadership & Capability Building - Manage and mentor the FPnA team, fostering a culture of ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement
.Forecasting & Budgeting - Lead periodic forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial targets
.Integrated Planning - Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance, operations, and business units to create integrated financial plans that support strategic decision-making
.Financial Reporting - Prepare and analysis monthly management reports, variance analyses, and business performance dashboards for leadership review
.Business Insights - Deliver data-driven insights through trend analysis, scenario modelling, and profitability reviews to support strategic and operational decisions
.Performance Management - Monitor key financial and operational KPIs, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to improve performance and cost efficiency
.Stakeholder Engagement - Partner with senior leadership to translate financial outcomes into actionable strategies, driving accountability across business units
.Continuous Improvement - Enhance forecasting models, reporting processes, and analytical tools to improve accuracy, agility, and decision support
.Governance & Reporting - Lead structured governance through regular reviews, dashboards, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and control
.Problem Solving & Issue Resolution - Provide analytical insight, investigate root causes of accounting discrepancies, and implement sustainable corrective actions
.Stakeholder & Client Management - Act as the primary liaison for clients and internal finance leadership, managing expectations, resolving escalations, and driving continuous partnership

Minimum Qualifications:

.CA / CPA / M-Com / B-Com or Graduate in Finance
.Relevant years of experience in managing Insurance FP&A processes
.Experience in working with an insurance client is an added advantage

Preferred Skill Set:
.Thorough knowledge of the Accounting Procedures
.Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
.

Experience with accounting software, like Oracle, Blackline, EPM tools, etc.
.Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
.Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative
.Strong time management skills
.Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
