Job Description & How to Apply Below
Troovy is an omnichannel consumer brand selling across quick commerce, D2C, marketplaces, and general trade. We need a planning professional to own the full demand-to-supply cycle from demand forecasting and S&OP through production and RM/PM planning to finished goods distribution across channels. The core mandate: right stock, right place, right time without bloating working capital.
What you will Own
Demand Forecasting & S&OP
• Own demand forecasting by SKU and channel — rolling 12-week
• Run the monthly S&OP cycle — align sales, ops, and finance on a single demand-supply plan
• Incorporate inputs from sales, marketing, and new launches into the forecast
• Track and improve forecast accuracy as a primary planning KPI
Production Planning
• Translate demand forecasts into weekly and monthly production schedules
• Manage capacity planning in coordination with the manufacturing team
• Ensure production adherence is tracked and deviations are flagged and closed
• Plan for new product launches — align production ramp-up with go-live timelines
RM / PM Planning
• Own raw material and packaging material procurement planning against production schedules
• Set reorder points and safety stock norms for all critical RM/PM and build cover
• Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure zero production stoppages due to material unavailability
Inventory Distribution & Channel Management
• Manage finished goods inventory distribution across QC, D2C, marketplace, and GT channels
• Set and maintain channel-wise inventory norms — min/max, safety stock, DOH targets
• Ensure no channel goes OOS due to a planning failure
• Identify and flag SLOB inventory early; drive liquidation in coordination with sales
KPIs & Reporting
• Track OOS, DOH, forecast accuracy, production adherence, and fill rate as core planning KPIs
• Maintain weekly planning MIS shared with ops and leadership
• Monitor working capital impact of inventory decisions — avoid excess buildup across nodes
What We are looking for
• 5–8 years in supply chain planning at a consumer goods company or new-age omnichannel brand
• Hands-on experience across demand forecasting, production planning, and RM/PM planning
• Has run or actively participated in an S&OP or IBP process
• Worked across multiple channels simultaneously — QC, D2C, GT, or modern trade
• Comfortable with OOS, DOH, SLOB, forecast accuracy, and fill rate as daily KPIs
• Strong working capital awareness — understands the cost of excess inventory and stockouts equally
• Strong on Excel/Sheets; exposure to ERP or planning tools
