The Team:

At A&M GCC, Supply Chain and Manufacturing professionals assist our clients in analysing manufacturing operations, supply chain and distribution channels, procurement, SG&A operations and Operating model effectiveness for potential value creation opportunities and to help drive them during our client's ownership. From our thorough fact-based analysis, we assess the state of current operations, identify performance improvement opportunity and quantify potential EBITDA improvement areas across plan, source, make and deliver functions.

Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team under Performance Improvement vertical is growing significantly and hence we are seeking techno-functional experts who can roll up the sleeves and deliver large, complex client engagements, working closely with leadership to identify, design, and implement creative business solutions. The role involves working closely with clients to identify challenges, develop solutions, and implement best practices in manufacturing operations.

Individual should be able to analyse, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Considering the pace of targeted growth, we are keen to find a person who is entrepreneurial, driven by a passion to drive significant growth, is comfortable with ambiguity, will roll up the sleeves

and be hands on to get things done and can be independent requiring limited cover.

How will you contribute

As a member of the A&M GCC PI Supply Chain & Manufacturing team, you will be responsible for:

Project Management – Lead and manage manufacturing improvement projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and gain a comprehensive understanding of a target's manufacturing and distribution operations-- organization design, production capacity, efficiency, quality, planning, warehousing and team capability
Process Analysis & Optimization – Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. The candidate should know how to develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows, reduce waste, and improve productivity
Operations Excellence – Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S and other process improvement tools. Expertise in DMAIC, PDCA and value stream mapping. Candidate should know about Plant Operations and Maintenance functions with good understanding on critical parameters such as OEE, MTBF, TEEP etc.
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement – Evaluate the maintainability and operability of production facilities to identify operational efficiency enhancement and cost reduction opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
Digital Manufacturing Technology Integration – Assess, design and implement advanced manufacturing technologies, such as ERP Manufacturing Modules, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Plant automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 solutions (IIOT, Edge Node integration etc.)

Qualifications:

Minimum of 6-11 years of experience in manufacturing operations, consulting, or process improvement experience
Previous advisory experience from a top-tier strategy firm, leading specialist, niche advisory firm, or Big-4 consultancy preferred
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or a related field
MBA/ master's degree in supply chain & Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, plants and equipment…
