Associate - Pricing | Majid Al Futtaim Retail | India
Role Purpose
To ensure timely and accurate execution of emergency price changes across all items, maintaining price integrity and supporting operational continuity for stores and head office 24/7.
Assets
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for overseeing operations across the GCC and Kenya
Monitor and safeguard pricing systems to prevent unauthorized or erroneous price changes.
Maintain real-time data accuracy on all pricing platforms and store systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements for pricing updates.
Track and report on all emergency price changes to relevant stakeholders.
Supporting system troubleshooting to minimize downtime and protect pricing integrity.
Human Capital
Be a role model and ensure the application of Majid Al Futtaim Retail corporate policies and guarantee the implementation of all laws, regulations and cultural practices of the operating countries are followed and respected.
Practices the company values and guarantees the same is respected and followed by the department team members
Merchandise
Execute immediate price changes for all merchandise categories as requested by head office or stores.
Ensure strict adherence to all established pricing rules and guidelines when implementing new price points.
Validate price accuracy at the SKU level before implementation to avoid customer impact.
Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure promotional and markdown timelines are met.
Maintain online and offline pricing to ensure a seamless omnichannel experience.
Provide feedback on recurring price change requests to support long-term category strategies.
Finance
Ensure all price changes are accurately reflected in sales and margin reporting.
Support finance by documenting pricing actions for audit and compliance purposes.
Flag potential margin or revenue risks arising from emergency price updates.
Minimum Qualifications /education
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2+ years of experience in a similar role
Preferred Languages
English (Full professional proficiency - Required) Country Language where applicable
