Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Senior Merchandiser to lead buyer communication and ensure flawless execution of orders in a high-speed fast fashion environment.
The ideal candidate should have strong commercial understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple buyers, large order volumes, and strict timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage buyer accounts and end-to-end order lifecycle

• Handle order costing, order confirmation, execution, and shipment planning

• Own and monitor FPT, GPT, and TNA across multiple orders/styles

• Ensure timely approvals for samples, fabrics, trims, PP samples, and production stages

• Coordinate closely with design, sourcing, production, QA, and logistics teams

• Proactively identify production bottlenecks and drive solutions

• Ensure OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery performance

• Lead buyer communication with professionalism and speed

• Prepare MIS reports, production summaries, and management dashboards

• Mentor and guide junior merchandisers / assistants

• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce delays

Required Skills:

• Advanced Excel skills (Pivots, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, reporting)

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Strong planning and execution capability

• Commercial understanding of costing and margins

• Ability to manage pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Strong ownership and leadership mindset

• Highly proactive and solution-oriented

Preferred Experience:

• 5–10 years in apparel merchandising / export house

• Experience handling international and large domestic buyers

• Strong understanding of fast fashion supply chains

• Experience in knits/wovens/womenswear preferred
