Job Purpose:

- The Service Writer at Vance Group serves as the essential link between our valued clients and our skilled auto technicians. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure a seamless and satisfactory experience for customers by effectively managing communication and coordination throughout the vehicle repair process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary liaison between clients and auto technicians, ensuring clear and effective communication.  - Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle issues with professionalism and care.  - Explain necessary repairs and associated costs to clients in a clear and understandable manner.  - Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring minimal wait times and optimal service delivery.  - Provide accurate estimates for repair services, maintaining transparency and trust with clients.  

- Communicate repair status updates to customers regularly, ensuring they are informed throughout the process.  - Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly and maintaining a high standard of service.  - Collaborate with auto technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of vehicle repairs.## Qualifications Required

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training is a plus.

Required Experience:

- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive or service-related industry.  - Experience in using automotive service software and systems for scheduling and communication.

- Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and handle unexpected situations with professionalism.  - Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair processes to facilitate accurate communication.
