Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience for a day shift assignment in acute therapy services.

• Work in an acute therapy services department
• Day shift schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Local candidates within 50 miles may receive a reduced bill rate
• Local subcontractor staff are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts at the same facility and must separate for 1 year or move to another facility after completion
• Full employment files must be completed and cleared prior to start

• Active Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in acute care physical therapy
• Current certifications must remain active during assignment; no expiring certifications within the first 30 days unless renewal is documented
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SINs are not accepted
• No gaps in employment over 90 days within the past 12 months
