Plant Manager Technical

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:
Oversee daily plant operations and ensure achievement of production targets.
Directly responsible for production activities during shifts.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Monitor production metrics and drive operational excellence.
Installation & Commissioning:
Lead installation and commissioning of line equipment including filling machines, ergo-block systems, mixers, pumps, blow molding machines, labelers, shrink wrappers, palletizers, conveyors, and pasteurizers.
Oversee installation and commissioning of utility equipment including air compressors (LP & HP), boilers, refrigeration plants, CO₂ storage/generation systems, diesel generators, AHU, and cooling towers.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance of all production and utility machinery.
Attend and resolve breakdowns with effective troubleshooting.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Perform Pareto analysis to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
Responsible for annual maintenance planning and execution.
Utilities & Process Management:
Manage operation and maintenance of utilities including air compressors, boilers, refrigeration units, cooling towers, AHU, ETP, and WTP.
Oversee process equipment such as pumps, concentrate mixers, agitators, gearboxes, actuator valves, pneumatic control systems, CIP pumps and control systems, sugar dumping and mixing systems, homogenizers, etc.
Supervise general maintenance activities including pipelines, fire-fighting systems, and facility blocks.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to quality control systems and food safety standards.
Maintain compliance with local, state, and central regulatory requirements.
Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of approximately 45 personnel including utility operators, fitters, and electricians.
Mentor and develop plant staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
Budget & Reporting:
Develop and manage plant budgets with cost optimization strategies.
Prepare and present reports on production performance, downtime, safety, and operational improvements to senior management.
