Our Team, Your Impact  As EHS Site Head, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and driving the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) strategy for our site. Reporting directly to the General Manager Operations and serving as a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), you will help create a culture where safety, sustainability, compliance, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

You will lead a team of EHS professionals while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, emergency services, and business partners. Through your expertise and leadership, you will help ensure a safe, compliant, and high‑performing work environment that supports Teva’s mission of improving the lives of patients worldwide.
How You’ll Spend Your Day   Serve as the designated Prevention Officer for the site in line with applicable regulations.
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the site's EHS policies, programs, and management systems.
Ensure full compliance with applicable EHS legislation, regulations, Teva standards, and industry requirements.
Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate EHS risks while maintaining compliance with EHS and cGMP requirements.
Develop and manage the annual EHS plan, objectives, KPIs, and budget.
Drive performance through audits, inspections, data analysis, monitoring programs, and corrective actions.
Champion a site‑wide EHS culture focused on employee engagement, ownership, and Target Zero performance.
Coach, train, and advise senior leaders, managers, supervisors, and employees on EHS matters.
Demonstrate visible leadership and promote continuous improvement in EHS performance across the site.
Lead and develop the EHS team, ensuring high levels of capability, engagement, and accountability.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to support operational excellence and sustainable business performance.
Maintain effective relationships with regulatory agencies, emergency services, insurance providers, neighboring companies, and other external stakeholders.
Support and initiate capital projects required to improve EHS performance and mitigate site risks.
Your Skills and Experience   Bachelor's degree (HBO level or equivalent) in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
Additional qualifications in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management are preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of EHS experience, including responsibility for site‑level EHS management.
Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of EHS management systems and relevant environmental, health, and safety legislation.
Experience developing and implementing EHS strategies, programs, and risk management initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Also Good to Have   Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or highly regulated manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of GMP and Lean / Operational Excellence methodologies.
Familiarity with CAPEX project management and implementation.
Working knowledge of Dutch legislation and regulations.
Dutch language skills.
