Develop software that guarantees worldclass product quality
At MYLAPS, precision and reliability define everything we do. Our technology measures the performance of over 20 million athletes each year, from the Olympics to INDYCAR. To deliver that level of accuracy, our production and test systems must operate flawlessly.
As a Software Engineer Manufacturing, you develop and maintain the software that powers our assembly, calibration and automated test equipment. Your work ensures every device meets the highest quality standards before it reaches athletes and events worldwide.
Your RoleYou are the key software specialist within Manufacturing Engineering and work on the intersection of software, embedded hardware, and manufacturing engineering. You collaborate with teams and suppliers worldwide.
You’ll thrive if you enjoy seeing your code make an immediate, tangible impact on the factory floor: higher throughput, better quality, and smarter automation.
You become the technical owner of our internal C++/Qt tooling used across production, assembly and by manufacturing partners. Your software is key in invalidating product performance, automating test sequences and safeguarding quality.
What you’ll do:- Take ownership of a mature C++/Qt codebase and improve its structure, reliability and documentation
- Develop and maintain software that drives automated test stations, measurement workflows and calibration procedures
- Integrate sensors, drivers and hardware interfaces into production tooling
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live production environments where uptime and accuracy are critical
- Support manufacturing partners when test setups require updates, fixes or optimizations
- Improve data capture, measurement storage and traceability to strengthen quality control
- Collaborate with hardware, test and manufacturing engineers to expand and refine test capabilities
This is PC-based software running on Windows, communicating with hardware via USB and other interfaces, not embedded development.
