Cooking line

The Cooking department is a department where we work hard and efficiently, according to safety rules. This department is responsible for putting the frozen pork belly in the machines, cuts in slices from the pork belly, collecting baked bacon slices etcetera.
The working atmosphere in the cooking department is friendly and with an open environment. You work in an warm environment where you have good contact with your colleagues and team leaders and also can have fun. In the cooking department you have various sub-departments where you can work. Think of, Cutting, tackling, Weighing.

You are available at least 4 days a week or full-time. You work in two shifts form monday to sunday:

• From 06:00 to 15:00 or
• From 15:00 to 23:00.

You will receive one fixed rest day. We are flexible and will do this in consultation with you.

• Work experience is a plus, but motivation and mentality is the most important thing
• You don't mind working in a noisy environment, of course we provide earplugs
• Working with meat products is no problem for you
• You don't mind working in a cold environment
• You are fit, because you stand and walk a lot during work and for some departments you need to be able to lift large pieces of bacon and move heavy crates.
• You are available full-time, or at least 4 days a week for a longer period of time
• You speak basic English, polish or Romanian.
• You live or want to live in the Haarlem area
• Hygiene and safety is a top priority. You therefore find it no problem to take off your jewelry.

• Salary of:

  € 13,68 per hour for 19 years and older
  € 10,62 per hour for 18 years

  In addition:

• 10.5% holiday allowance
• Shift allowance:

  131,50% Monday till Saturday ( 18:00 - 06:00 our )
  125% Saturday
  190% Sunday and holidays ( 00:00 - 23:59 our )

• Your salary is transferred weekly.
• You will be trained for different departments.
• HOBIJ provides the necessary clothing and personal protective equipment.
