Retail Manager

As the store manager of this e-bike shop in the heart of Amsterdam, you ensure a perfect customer experience on the shop floor. You start the day independently, prepare the newest e-bikes for use, and welcome the first visitors for rentals and sales. During the day, you advise tourists and locals on the best routes and e-bikes, supervise a direct colleague on Saturdays, and monitor the welcoming atmosphere of the shop.

You close the day with daily administration and share your experiences directly with the owner. Responsibilities  Managing daily sales and the rental of e-bikes to tourists and locals.
Ensuring a warm welcome and excellent execution of customer contact.
Running the shop, working independently 60% of the time and collaborating with a colleague 40% of the time.
Communicating and strategizing directly with the owner and her right hand regarding store results.
Ensuring a representative store presentation and an accurate store inventory.
Handling daily administrative tasks and reporting at the end of your shift.
Requirements  Excellent customer contact skills and proven experience in sales.
A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with a high level of professional freedom.
Affinity with e-bikes and the willingness to learn within an innovative retail environment.
Fluent in English, and Dutch is a plus.
Flexibility to work a schedule that mainly runs from Tuesday to Saturday.
Availability for the introduction day at the main location in Hoofddorp on your first working day.
We offer  A direct contract with the employer.
A salary between € 3100 and € 3400 gross per month.
8% holiday allowance.
A good holiday leave arrangement in accordance with the employer's terms.
Travel allowance for commuting.
An introduction day at the production and assembly line in Hoofddorp to get to know the e-bikes and the team.
