Accounts Payable; AP Specialist

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner for multiple companies
• Verify and reconcile invoice discrepancies and resolve billing issues with vendors
• 3 way match of purchase orders, receiving documents and invoices to verify accuracy
• Ensure proper cost / expense coding of invoices
• Maintain vendor records
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and check payments
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounts payable
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving and other departments to ensure a smooth workflow
• Process year-end 1099’s
• Payroll support, such as reconciling punch hour reports to work orders at month-end
• Other general accounting duties

• 5-10 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Accounting software experience (e.g. Net Suite, Sage, Quick Books or similar)
• Good Excel skills
• Spend management software experience (e.g. Ramp)
• Consistent, accurate and timely transaction processing
• Familiar with sales and use tax compliance
