Senior Accountant

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in public accounting or general industry accounting.
• Preferred experience in the healthcare industry.
• CPA or parts passed preferred.

Position: Full-Time Accounting Associate

Location: Teaneck, NJ (Hybrid)

Schedule: Day Shift, No Weekends

• Assist in maintaining the general ledger, including preparing financial schedules, journal entries, and reviewing invoice coding.
• Coordinate the corporate close process for all companies, ensuring accurate monthly accruals.
• Support Regional Accounting Offices & Controllers in ensuring accurate accounting for new practices, including opening balance sheet adjustments.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of various records and accounts, such as balance sheets, supporting details, and fixed assets records.
• Manage the fixed asset system and depreciation calculations.
• Review monthly Practice Reporting Packages for accuracy, reasonableness, and completeness.
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Provide requested analyses and may act as a lead for junior accounting staff.
