Senior Heavy Civil Estimator

Essential Function:

• Develop accurate estimates for a variety of projects in the heavy civil, underground utilities, pipe rehabilitation, guide rail and sign structures, and renewable energy industries.

• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gain a thorough understanding of project requirements.

• Utilize estimating software and perform quantity takeoffs to determine labor, equipment, and material costs.

• Collaborate with upper management to review and discuss project estimates.

• Submit completed estimates to owners by specified deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications and

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.

• 6-8 years of experience as an estimator with a track record of bidding on larger and more complex projects.

• 8-10 years of experience in construction operations.

• Strong ability to read and understand contract drawings, specifications, and documents.

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Suite.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with owners during the bid phase.

• Knowledge of Bluebeam, Agtek, and/or Primavera software a plus.
