• Perform complex CT procedures and interventional imaging.
• Evaluate radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Gather relevant information from the medical record to prepare protocols for scanning and patient safety.
• Determine appropriate preparation for each patient.
• Prepare patients for scanning, including shielding and immobilization devices.
• Assist providers with CT‑guided interventional procedures.
• Perform CT examinations and administer contrast following established departmental protocols.
• Provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients at a level they can understand.
• Perform venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures per guidelines.
• Monitor patient’s physical condition during procedures.
• Review images to assess need for additional scans.
• Perform retrospective reconstruction on raw data.
• Provide technical assistance and instruction to students, employees, and medical residents.
• Adhere to infection control guidelines and sterile techniques.
• Revise scanning parameters to visualize pathology per established protocol.
• Document diagnostic, treatment, and patient data in the appropriate record.
• Archive images to data storage devices per guidelines.
• Assess equipment performance against established guidelines.
• Execute daily clerical duties, including EPIC, PACS, Teletracking System, patient scheduling, and other computer systems.
• Greets all patients at exam arrival using AIDET standards.
• Administer emergency care, including CPR when necessary.
• Maintain scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends; overtime as needed.
• On‑call assignments per Department of Radiology policy.
• Adhere to Employee , Standards of Behavior, Attendance, and Punctuality policies.
• Identify patient population needs and deliver care specific to age, culture, language, hearing, and visual impairment.
• Adhere to the Medical Center’s Organizational Competencies.
• Perform modality‑specific daily and monthly quality assurance.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
• Lift a minimum of 25 lbs, push and pull a minimum of 50 lbs, and stand a minimum of 6 hours daily.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of an ARRT‑approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, CT) within 9 months of entering position.
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.).
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) Certification within 60 days of entering position.

Hackensack Meridian Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits. The base hourly rate is $45.94.
