Job Overview

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to work on a travel contract at a partner hospital in Hackensack, New Jersey. The role involves operating advanced CT imaging equipment, ensuring high‑quality diagnostic studies, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized tomographic equipment to capture diagnostic images.
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment and maintain a safe patient environment.
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and ensure their comfort.
  • Apply radiation protection practices and monitor patient safety.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and report findings to physicians.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
  • Active state radiologic technologist license (if required).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association;
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $2,240 – $2,494 per week.
