Who is Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare?
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We serve families across the state of New Jersey and are currently seeking dedicated Seasonal Behavioral Technicians to join our Hunterdon County team.
Job Summary
As a Seasonal Behavioral Technician, you will support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Providers typically work 5–20 hours per week, with 2–4 hour shifts primarily scheduled in the evenings. Services are hands-off, emotionally supportive, and designed to promote client alertness, engagement, and emotional well-being.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families
- Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan
- Conduct functional assessments, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns
- Complete and submit weekly D.A.P. notes and required documentation
- Assist guardians in following treatment protocols as directed by therapists
- Respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies
- Engage clients in interest-based activities to support growth and awareness
- Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings
- Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelines
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field
- Either:
- 3 years of relevant experience OR
- 1 year of experience with a valid Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- 1–3 years of experience in behavioral healthcare and working with children with disabilities
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply

- Starting Rate: $20.00/hour

We are excited to offer a $300 sign-on bonus to new Behavioral Technicians who join our team in Bergen County.
Bonus Structure
- $150 issued after 45 days of active case assignment
- $150 issued after an additional 60 days
- Must meet all eligibility criteria throughout the bonus period
To Qualify For The Sign-on Bonus, Employees Must
- Complete all onboarding and orientation requirements
- Maintain a minimum weekly caseload of 2–3 assigned clients
- Stay actively engaged and attend all scheduled sessions
- Remain in good standing throughout the bonus period
