My name is Bill Stevens, and I have a new full time Program Manager opportunity available for a major services firm located in Hackensack, New Jersey that could be of interest to you, please review my specification below and I am available at any time to speak with you so please feel free to call me. The work schedule will be hybrid four days a week onsite in Hackensack, New Jersey and one day remote.

The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship.

This position will be paying a competitive fulltime salary plus an outstanding benefits package.

The main responsibilities for this role will include tracking progress on cross-functional, programmatic goals, governing implementation timelines, driving momentum to efficiently scale the firm’s tristate market, documenting the history of program-related activities, employing quality assurance practices to monitor program success/integrity, and reporting progress to key program stakeholders. Much of this job will be rooted in strategic planning and requires keen skills in analytical thinking, organization, and time management.

He / She will come from a service oriented and customer service background. The key to the ideal candidate’s background is of being of service to a firm’s customers.

The ideal candidate will be a professional, self-sufficient, and personable individual who works well with professionals across all functions, carries out tasks with limited supervision, and has the ability to handle sensitive information. Effective program governance will require cross-functional collaboration, and the Program Manager will serve as the central liaison.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of Program/Project Management experience.

Experience working within a corporate environment, supporting Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Financial Shared Services, IT, Operations, and Senior Leadership Teams

Salesforce is the firm’s tool that is used for its sales and customer service operations, having salesforce within the candidate’s background is a plus only and is NOT required.

PMP Certification, other Project Management certification, or relevant experience delivering complex projects preferred

Familiarity with SLDC and Agile preferred

Experience with MS Project or other Project Management software preferred

Proven organization skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to implement need-based project management methodologies within functions of varying working styles

Excellent analytical skills, ability to quickly aggregate and analyze data/information.

Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
