Qualifications- Educational Interpreter Certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Education, or willingness to work under an emergency certificate while actively pursuing full certification within two years of employment, in accordance with NJDOE regulations
- Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher
- Associate or higher degree from an accredited college or university
- Knowledge and awareness of Deaf culture and the communication needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students preferred
$56,145 - $61,145 - Interpreter Level I
$60,645 - $65,645 - Interpreter Level II
