Marketing Assistant
Hackensack, NJ – Onsite 3 days per week
Position Summary:Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day marketing activities for all our firm's offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for marketing to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced professional services environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, handling correspondence, and processing invoices.
- Organize and maintain marketing files, documents, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist in managing marketing databases, including client lists, contact information, and mailing lists, to support effective marketing campaigns and client communications.
- Support the planning and execution of firm events, seminars, webinars, and conferences, including venue selection, vendor coordination, RSVP management, and material preparation.
- Assist in digital marketing efforts, including social media content creation and scheduling, email marketing campaigns, and website updates.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and client demographics to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
- Track and monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing reports and insights to the marketing team.
- Assist with special projects as assigned, including marketing collateral inventory management and charitable request research.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in Marketing, ideally for a law firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM software (Inter Action, Lexis Nexis Contact Manager, Salesforce, etc)
- Experience with Email Marketing Platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, etc)
- Experience with Social Media Management Tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc)
- Experience with Website Content Management Systems (Wordpress or similar)
- Experience with Marketing Analytics and Reporting Tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc)
