REGISTERED NURSE - INTERMEDIATE MED CARE STEPDOWN - PT NIGHTS WITH BENEFITS

Location: Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, New Jersey

• Delivery of nursing practices according to the most up‑to‑date evidence‑based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide and ensure safe and excellent individualized patient care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and other members of the health care team regarding patient status, rendered care and treatment plans.
• Medication administration using bar‑scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safest delivery of medications.
• Ongoing point‑of‑care electronic documentation of each patient’s assessments, plan‑of‑care, interventions and evaluation.
• Patient and family‑centered education aimed at optimizing health, wellness and disease management.
• Multi‑disciplinary discharge of patients to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.

• Minimum of an associate degree or diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire.
• At least 6 months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, accountability and dedication to ongoing education.
• Valid RN license to work at the assigned location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

• National certification in area of specialty.

Minimum hourly rate: $47.39. Additional compensation details are provided during the application process.
