REGISTERED NURSE - PEDIATRIC EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT – P/T WITH BENEFITS EVENINGS

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient care.
• Communicate with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, care plans, and treatments.
• Administer medication utilizing advanced bar‑scanning and documentation technology to ensure safe delivery.
• Document assessments, plan of care, interventions, and evaluation electronically at the point of care.
• Provide patient‑ and family‑centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transition and continuum of care.

• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
• BSN degree in progress and/or plan to complete within three (3) years of hire.
• Pediatric or Emergency Nursing experience preferred.
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Strong teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and patient‑focus orientation.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

Minimum rate $47.39 per hour. Compensation is benchmarked against market data and may vary based on experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and other factors. Shift differentials may apply for evening, night, or weekend shifts.
