Registered Nurse - Oncology - P/T with Benefits Days

Join Hackensack Meridian Health as a part‑time Registered Nurse in our Oncology team. The role supports patients in a collaborative environment, with a focus on evidence‑based nursing, technology‑enhanced medication safety, and interdisciplinary care coordination.

• Deliver nursing practices in line with current evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, individualized patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other health‑care professionals regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
• Administer medication using advanced bar‑scanning and documentation technologies to ensure the safest delivery.
• Document point‑of‑care electronic records for each patient’s assessment, plan of care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care.
• Provide patient‑ and family‑centered education aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuum of care.

• New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License required.
• BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within three (3) years of hire.
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and focus on teamwork, ongoing education, and patient quality of care.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted hourly rate of $47.39 reflects the minimum base pay for this role in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act. Final compensation may vary based on market data, experience, education, and other non‑discriminatory factors.
