About the Opportunity

A growing behavioral health organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its clinical team. This individual will work closely with physicians, clinicians, and administrative staff to provide high-quality psychiatric care and medication management services for adult patients in a supportive treatment environment.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional behavioral health services.

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patient- s.
  • Provide medication management and patient counselin- g.
  • Diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plan- s.
  • Complete history and physical examinations as neede- d.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff, physicians, and treatment team- s.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standard- s.
  • Participate in clinical meetings and care planning discussion- s.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriat- e.
  • Complete and maintain accurate medical documentation and progress note- s.
  • Assist in supporting continuity of care for patients throughout treatment.
Qualificati- ons
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHN- P).
  • Active and unrestricted state licen- se.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing progr- am.
  • Experience in behavioral health, outpatient, or psychiatric settings preferr- ed.
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skil- ls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abiliti- es.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare te- am.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance, confidentiality, and patient care standards.
