About This Role
The Nurse Manager is the designated leader responsible for providing high-quality nursing care compliant with regulations. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in leadership and operational management.
Highlights- Pay: $156,062/year
- Location: Hackensack, NJ
- Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health
- Schedule: Full-time
- Manage 24/7 accountability for assigned unit(s).
- Oversee daily operations and interprofessional collaboration.
- Execute policies and procedures for nursing practice.
- Monitor compliance with nursing standards and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and evaluate budgetary and financial priorities.
- Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources.
- Demonstrate leadership through effective communication and mentoring.
- Supervise educational programs and evidence-based practice.
- Support the Magnet Program and shared governance model.
- Address complaints and opportunities for improvement.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master's degree in relevant field preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse required
- 3+ years' progressive leadership experience preferred
Licenses &
Certifications:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
- National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
