Starting hourly rate: $18.75 USD per hour. Pay range: $18.75 - $28.15 USD per hour.

Experts in operations, process and efficiency aim to provide a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store.

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive (ESIM) items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner at all times; comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) and maintain compliance culture while executing those duties.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.

• Handles cash register operations accurately as needed.
• Can climb up and down ladders.
• Can lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Reliable and prompt attendance for a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, humidity and other environmental conditions on the floor (Drive-Up, carry-out, etc.).
• Capable of remaining mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
