What We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a Business Development Representative Intern to join our business development team at the Corporate Office in South Hackensack. The role is a direct-sell internship responsible for research, outreach and communication within the youth and amateur soccer space to generate business opportunities. This hourly paid internship is up to 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Proactively reach out to prospects via email, text, phone & Linked In to educate them on Capelli Sport product/service offerings with the goal of producing qualified sales calls for Sales Executive and Business Development Manager.
- Present Capelli Sport to potential clients by contacting and developing relationships with them. Qualify prospects to determine whether they’re a good fit.
- Track important call data and information, organize and take thorough notes on prospects in Salesforce (CRM Platform).
- Learn the Capelli Sport Sales Script and Company profile to lead prospects through discovery and give insight on the best products for potential customers.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Sales Executives/Account Managers.
- Act as a liaison between our Sales and Marketing teams.

- Experience with multiple sales techniques (cold calls, mail-mergers, e‑blasts, etc.).
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations both verbally and via email.
- $15–$20 per hour based on experience.
- College credit available.
