• Assists families in crisis at the time of a relative’s psychiatric screening/admission to the hospital
• Provides support and assistance with navigating the admission process.
• Functions as a family advocate
• Attends visiting hours, and refers and links families to supportive community services
• Works cooperatively with hospital staff and PESP staff

• BSW in Social Work, BA/BS in Psychology, or related field or a Registered Nursing Degree
• Two years of direct experience in mental health/human services required
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license
