Paint Room Operator - 3rd shift

This Position reports to:
Production Supervisor

• Operate manual or semi-automatic painting application including grit blasting machines.
• Dilute paint as required.
• Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws.
• Fill in production logs and reports.
• Manual material handling.
• Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations.
• Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and 5S procedures.
• Maintain accurate quality and production records.
• Embrace teamwork.
• Proper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable.
• All other duties, as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours daily.
• Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
• Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications.

While hourly pay rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay at $19.75 including $1.50 shift differential .3rd shift hours are 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM Sunday - Thursday.
