Maintenance Technician – Hackettstown, NJ

The Maintenance Technician is tasked with maintaining and repairing equipment in a high‑production environment, balancing multiple mechanical, electrical, and administrative responsibilities.

• Night Shift 2-2-3 schedule – 6:30pm to 7am.
• Shift differential: $2 per hour.

Maintain and repair equipment, troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, automation, machining, and mechanical systems on process and packaging equipment.

• Troubleshoot systems on equipment.
• Perform routine electrical and mechanical problem‑solving.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM).
• Support operations in equipment setup, changeover, and training of operators.
• Document Work Orders using SAP‑PPM Plant Maintenance.
• Engage in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and train others.
• Adhere to Lock‑Out/Tag‑Out (LOTO), confined space, and GMP requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years’ industrial maintenance experience.
• Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and/or mechanical drawings.
• Willingness to develop technical skills.

• Associate degree or technical/trade certification.
• 6+ years’ industrial maintenance experience.
• Relevant technical degree or trade certification.
• Knowledge of AC/DC electrical (up to 480
  
  VAC 3 Phase), hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and mechanical drawings.
• PLC/Instrumentation troubleshooting skills.

• Frequent lifting/carrying (10‑50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50‑200 lbs).
• Frequent handling, bending, stooping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment.
• Stand or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours per shift).
• Work in various manufacturing environments, non‑temperature‑controlled rooms.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Flexible schedule to support production needs.

• Starting pay: $40+ per hour (based on experience).

Base pay range: $35.02 – $48.16 per hour.
