Job Description

The OR RN is responsible for coordinating care delivery within the OR/procedural setting. Must demonstrate strong communication skills, work well in a multi-disciplinary setting and be a strong patient advocate.

• Maintains accurate and complete procedural documentation.
• Responds to the needs of the procedural care team including but not limited to, gathering of resources, supplies, equipment, and medications.
• Functions in the circulator role and.
• Maintains sterile vigilance and supports all team members in this endeavor.
• Assists with the flow in combination with the Radiology and OR teams and anesthesia providers to optimize efficiency.
• Collaborates with all members of the Procedural Care team with a focus on promoting evidence-based care, to achieve best patient outcomes.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• 3+ years current Operative nursing experience.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• a. All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• CNOR.
