• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring floor and stock rooms are ready for the business day.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
• Maintain and hold store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
• Assist with coaching staff on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the backdoor for vendor deliveries.
• Register all related sales on assigned cash register and manage returns, price changes, and voids.
• Assist manager in reviewing order exceptions, reverse logistics, and evaluating/display development.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure compliance with store policies.
• Assist with compliance, bookkeeping, and store maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Assist with various assigned tasks and special assignments.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Consideration of applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Obtains and maintains valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
