Principal Education is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher for a vibrant and inclusive secondary school based in Hackney / Tower Hamlets.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RE Teacher who is committed to high-quality teaching and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds. The school is open to a start date ASAP or from April 2026, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

The Role:

Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)

Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with the curriculum

Foster respectful discussion and critical thinking in the classroom

Track progress and support students of all abilities

Contribute positively to the wider school community

The Ideal Candidate :

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching RE in a UK secondary school (ECTs welcome to apply)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Passion for RE and inclusive education

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
