About the role

This Learning Support Assistant position is based in a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hackney and is available for an immediate start. The Learning Support Assistant will work closely with one pupil in Year 3 who requires additional academic, behavioural, and emotional support throughout the school day.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help the pupil stay engaged in lessons, access the curriculum, and develop positive learning habits and coping strategies. You will provide tailored support both inside and outside the classroom, adapting activities where needed to meet the pupil’s individual needs.

The Learning Support Assistant will work alongside the class teacher and SEN team to follow support plans, implement clear routines, and track progress.
