1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Primary

We are seeking experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs in mainstream primary school settings. This role requires confident, adaptable individuals who can provide consistent, tailored support to help pupils access learning and thrive within the classroom.
Essential Requirements (must have):
* Previous experience working in UK primary schools
* Proven experience working 1:1 with children with SEN in a mainstream setting
* Experience supporting children with additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (no exceptions)
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practice
The Role:
* Providing 1:1 support to a named pupil throughout the school day
* Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional regulation within the classroom
* Implementing strategies set out in EHCPs and support plans
* Assisting with transitions, routines, and social development
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to track progress
