Location: Hackney

Behaviour Mentor – Primary School – Hackney – ASAP Start – Full Time – Long Term – £90–£120 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role – Behaviour Mentor

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be working closely and supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2 who present challenging behaviour. You will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing and proactive, implementing strategies that support pupils in developing constructive behaviour patterns and improved social skills. Ideally, you will have prior experience working with children who display challenging behaviour.

Based in the borough of Hackney, this friendly and inclusive primary school is approximately an 8 minute walk from the nearest train station. The school is mixed gender, catering for pupils aged 3–11 years old. This school prides itself on providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for pupils to feel safe and thrive in their learning. There is a strong focus on wellbeing and inclusive practice, ensuring every child feels safe, respected and motivated to succeed.

The school offers tailored support for pupils with SEN, including SLCN and ADHD, and has been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.
