Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic

We are working with a leading, well-established fire and security solutions company in London, known for delivering high-quality installations and maintenance services across commercial, residential, and public sector projects.

The role
As a Fire and Security Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fire, security, and life-safety projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all technical and commercial aspects of a project are accounted for. Your estimates will directly support business growth and successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV projects

Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate pricing

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing information

Work with project teams to ensure estimates align with budgets, timelines, and client requirements

Maintain accurate records of estimates, tenders, and revisions

Support business development by producing proposals and tender documents

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an estimator within the fire and security industry

Strong understanding of fire, security, and life-safety systems

Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills

Confident communication skills, able to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Proactive, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of tender processes and commercial awareness
