£28,000 to £32,000 + Training + Progression to Senior + Generous Holiday Scheme + Pension

Are you a Logistics Assistant or similar looking to grow your career inside a company who import food worldwide, who are offering training to support your growth to senior roles?
Established in 1991, this specialist food importer sources premium Greek and Mediterranean products, supplying supermarkets, independent retailers, restaurants, hotels and food service operators across the UK. With a strong reputation for quality and authenticity, the business generates an annual turnover of approximately £50M per year.
In this role you will be in charge of checking stock levels, arranging stock management for transport, arranging the transport of the food, and being in control of daily stock takes. You will be working alongside the Logistics Manager who will be mentoring you, ensuring you receive the best training to grow your career.
This role would suit someone who is looking to start their career inside of a food importer, where you will receive full training and development to move into senior roles long term.
The Role:
Managing stock take
Arranging the transport for food
Daily stock take + reports
Arrange stock movement
Fix stock issues
The Person :
Logistics Assistant or similar
Experience with stock management
Warehouse/logistics experience
