Working Hours:
Immediate start. Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm HRGO Recruitment are seeking a highly organised and motivated Production Operative to join our client's busy department This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical, hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. The role involves working within a busy production environment, operating machinery and equipment, preparing and manufacturing components to customer specifications, while ensuring accuracy, quality and efficiency at all times.
Main Duties:
Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Manufacture and assemble specialist belts and components to customer specifications. Prepare materials and components for the production process. Follow production instructions, job sheets and specifications accurately. Use hand tools and workshop equipment as required. Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Carry out quality checks throughout the production process.
Identify and report any defects or issues to the relevant supervisor. Work to production schedules and meet required deadlines. Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment. Follow all company health and safety procedures. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets. Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your own work. Undertake training to develop your manufacturing and technical skills.
Carry out other reasonable duties within the production department as required. Requirements:
Strong problem-solving skills with a practical approach to challenges. A positive and proactive attitude. Willingness to learn and develop new skills. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality. A strong team player who works well with colleagues. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to support different areas of the production department. Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of work.
