How You'll Get To Contribute

We are currently seeking an experienced CADD Manager to join our growing Transportation and Infrastructure division. This position will serve multiple projects with local agencies that mcfa is supporting as well as provide technical leadership on a wide range of transportation projects. As a part of our Transportation team, the CADD Manager will be responsible for setting up and maintaining project deliverables for multi-disciplinary projects and pursuits, as well as production drawings and as‑builts utilizing sketches, diagrams, drawings, and plans.

This position is located in our Haddonfield, New Jersey office with the ability for a hybrid work arrangement.

What You'll Get To Do
  • Prepare drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs for preliminary and final plan sets using Micro Station and Project Wise.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure coordinated designs.
  • Apply standard drafting/design principles and theories to complete assignments.
  • Use technical manuals to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable standards for the Transportation and infrastructure agencies.
  • Manage project and client‑specific CADD and drawing standards and setup guidelines for multi‑disciplinary projects.
  • Consult with clients to establish drawing delivery and interface requirements.
  • Train personnel on the usage of CADD, CADD standards and project collaboration software like Project Wise and SharePoint.
  • Provide ongoing support and direction for project technical personnel.
  • Auditing and enforcement of CADD standards.
  • Organize and maintain a design and CADD digital file database for each project using SharePoint.
  • Be proactive and keep up‑to‑date with the latest CADD and other engineering related programs.

Who You Are
  • Required
  • A minimum of 3‑5 years of experience with Transportation Agencies including but not limited to:
  • New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA)
  • Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ)
  • Proficiency in Bentley Micro Station V8i (desired minimum of 3‑5 years).
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
  • Proficiency in Bentley Project Wise.
  • Self‑directed with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate status and progress effectively.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential documents and information.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Effective communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Attentive to details; able to prioritize and multitask; proactive and detail oriented.
  • Preferred
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with engineering, architectural, and construction documents (i.e., maps, drawings, technical specifications, etc.).
  • Experience in mentoring, coaching and training junior CADD staff.
  • GIS (Geographic Information System) experience is a plus.
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
