Overview

Heartland Dental is hiring a Dental Hygienist for a full-time position.

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday 7:30–5:00.

Location:

1329 Pennsylvania Ave Ste 201, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742.

Dental Hygiene role context:
Each Heartland Dental-supported office is connected to a practice manager, a trained on-site team, and a nationwide network of experts to support patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in Maryland and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

  • 0 years of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
  • Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically
  • A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for new hires in dental office positions and will be arranged during pre-employment; not applicable in the states of Florida and Tennessee
