Position Overview
GI Anesthesiologist opening with Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD. Part-time welcome!

Shifts
Monday-Friday (8-hour shifts). No call. No weekends.

Team
Lisa Trevan, Chief Anesthesiologist

• Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient; induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical interventions as needed

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician

Hagerstown, MD:
Located approximately 70 miles from Baltimore, in Maryland’s north-central region. The town is in Cumberland Valley, between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Allegheny Mountain Range. It offers historical and cultural attractions and a network of parks and recreation.

• Salary: $425K (for part-time, salary will be prorated)
