Job Description:

Paramount Baptist Church, a mid-size SBC congregation in Hagerstown, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Children and Youth. Paramount averages 240 in attendance across two Sunday morning blended worship services.

The ideal candidate for this position will provide comprehensive oversight of the children’s and youth ministries, including teaching, discipling, mentoring, recruiting and developing volunteers and leaders, as well as planning and leading all ministry events, activities, outings, and trips. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to connect with children, youth, and their families while possessing strong administrative skills to independently manage all aspects of the ministry effectively.

Preferred Attributes:
In addition to the above qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a ministry-related bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of demonstrated experience in children’s and/or youth ministry.
